Just Another Day

Shortly after classes ended for the day, the sounds of students racing down the hallways echoed throughout the campus as the students went to enjoy the rest of their days doing what normal teenagers do, like hanging out with friends and dating. However one individual is seen walking alone and seems to be detached from the others. His name is Fayt Yukimaura and hes one of the newer students who are attending classes this year. Hes seen moving down the empty hallways with a cold expression and his clothing seemed pretty inappropriate for this time of year, he wore a black coat with fur on the collar along with a pair of white gloves and black jeans. Fayt had the strange ability to make the temperature of the enclosed area that he stays in for an extended period of time drop to a chilling twenty one degrees Fahrenheit in a matter of minutes and this had led him to become disliked my most of his classmates due to the discomfort they feel during classes. Being that it was getting late Fayt decided to get a bit to eat before he headed off to his dorm so he headed off to the cafeteria. Fayt was pleased to see that the cafeteria was very large so this meant he could take his time instead of rushing because of his uncontrollable powers. After putting some food on his tray and paying for his meal he walked moving down the very long table and sat down when he had a good distance between himself and the other students in the cafeteria. So with a sigh he grabbed an apple that he got from the lunch lady and sighed just before taking a bite and starting his very needed meal.

Alice walked into the cafeteria and since her conversation with Aiden wasn't completely terrible she decided why not get to know some of the other students at the Academy. She got her lunch which consisted of a small bowl of soup and two apples. She looked around for someone to sit with which was foreign to her because she always sat alone. As Alice looked around she noticed most everybody was in a group with other people except this one boy that sat alone. She would feel much more comfortable sitting with just one other person than a group of kids she didn't know. Alice felt the temperature drop but it didn't really bother her because she was always warm due to her powers. She sat across from the boy and waved.

"Hi, I'm Alice I don't really talk to many people here do you mind if i sit?"

Fayt had just finished his apple when he noticed a girl who walked over and sat across the table from himself, he was surprised that she came to sit with him even though he knows that the temperature this close to him should have at least lowered to a point of being considered uncomfortable for most. Fayt however wasn't going to tell her to go away for she seemed to be similar to him being that she mentioned that didn't get along with the others very well for a reasons beyond his knowledge. So as he grabbed his sandwich he looked to her slightly as he spoke with a quiet tone just before looking away getting back to his meal.

"Do what you like.."

Alice smiled, she grabbed her spoon and began eating her soup. She brushed her long red hair from her face and fidgeted with her gloves.

"So, what grade are you?"

Fayt eating his sandwich quietly is somewhat thinking to himself to himself about the current situation, but then the silence is broken when the girl asks what grade his in and after a few more moments he answers with the same quiet monotone voice that he used earlier.

"I'm Grade one."

"Oh, that's cool. Do you talk to anyone else."

As she looked around and saw the large distance between him and the entire school and realized the answer. So she quickly changed the question.

"Are you new?"

"Yes actually..I am."

"Oh, so are you going to ask me any question or am i gonna ask them all."

"Seems like it."

"Well that made no sense but okay."

Alice decided to sit there and finish her lunch and wait for the boy to say something to her.

"Well, I'm done here..So I'll be taking my leave now." Said Fayt as he grabbed his empty food tray, quietly standing up as he turned himself and began walking away. Fayt may have seemed cold towards the girl but he enjoyed her company for it was a rarity that some one actually talked to him. Fayt was however now full from his meal but was not ready to head back to his dorm like he intended, so after he dropped of the tray in the area for the used ones, he decided to kill some time before curfew and wonder around the campus for a little bit.

Alice watched the boy leave and then cleaned up her tray. She still wasn't really fond of him due to that she actually tried to have a conversation with him and he shot her down. She got up and decided to walk through the Academy
