Passing Time

It was late in the afternoon at the wondrous Celor Park located in the dead center of Celor Town. The signs of fall began to show in the beautiful park as the trees leaves began to change color and fall to the ground below giving the surrounding area a charm that only could be captured by seeing it in person. Sitting on a bench that faced the parks pond, Fayt Yukimura, is seen watching the still water as he relaxed in this serene environment wearing a heavy blue jacket with a striped scarf around his neck. Also Fayt's hair was a different color and when he asked a teacher about this strange occurrence the teacher simply said that sometimes the ability's of a Sei-Mancer sometimes can effect the physical appearance of the user but this also showed that his had advanced greatly since he started his studies. Fayt wasn't at the academy because he requested a few days off so he could visit his grandfather back at the dojo, its been three months since he began learning under the academy and he hadn't been back home until this visit. It was the last day of Fayt's three day pass and he came to the park because this was his favorite place to to relax and get away from it all.

"So peaceful.."

Aiden slowly drove into Celor Park's parking lot in his V.C.E. Hunter, a black muscle car with two white racing stripes from the front to the back, as he drove into a spot and shifted into park. As Aiden got out and closed the door he could be seen wearing a black winter leather jacket with white fur trim. He was also wearing black cargo pants. His hair had grown much longer since last semester. As he walked toward the middle of the park Aiden noticed Fayt. He smiled slightly and began heading towards him.

"Hey Fayt..."

Fayt turned his head staying seated as he noticed a man calling out to him after exiting his car, seemed familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it but event though he didn't know him it seemed that the mysterious man knew him. So not trying to show any disrespect he talked in response to the sudden call.

"Who are you?"

Without answering Aiden pulled his customized Galil Assault Rifle from his back as he began to open fire on Fayt. Aiden's weapon unleashed fifty bullets in a matter of seconds, all hurling towards Fayt. As Aiden stopped firing he held his hand out and let out five arcs of lightning from his fingertips towards Fayt in an attempt to paralyze him as he purposely did not put a lot of volts into his fingers.

Fayt's eyes widened the moment that the rifle was pointed in his direction and was fired, he quickly jumped to the side but fell on the ground as the metal bench was pelted with bullets making dozens of dents along the back of it. But before Fayt could get back on his feet he saw bright sparks on the fingers of his attack and with this he figured that a electric attack was on the way. Fayt then clenched his right hand making a tight fist then raised it quickly to the sky and what came after this motion was a five inch thick wall of ice that emerged from the ground below. Fayt was in luck because it rained recently he was able to full enough water from the ground to make this thick shield of ice but that didn't even help much for the moment the bolt of lightning collided with the shield it caused some type of explosion that sent Fayt flying back as he then rolled slightly almost falling into the pond. But even after all this he was able to bright himself to his feet but with a painful look on his face showing that the attack did some damage.

"What the hell was that for!?"

The clacking of Aiden's was rifle was heard as he changed the clip. He aimed yet again, this time looking through his scope. As he zero'd in on Fayt's shin he pulled the trigger letting off a single shot towards his leg. Aiden was sad that he had to do this but it was the only way to see if Fayt was strong enough. Aiden was recruiting members to his new group and he needed to make sure they could keep up with him.

Before Fayt had a chance to respond he was shot in the shin making him fall to the ground, he held the spot where he was shot as the blood was seen through his white pants. Fayt looked up at his attacker with his amber eyes and had a enraged look in his eyes as he glared at Aiden. Fayt then took a deep breath as he placed his hand over the wound and concentrated creating a small patch of ice so he could close the wound and numb the pain at the same time so he could fight back. Yet again he struggled to stand but still managed to get up, still glaring at the attacker he was no longer gonna be a target for he was ready to fight. Knowing he couldn't run he had to fight long distance so from the water in the pond in a matter of seconds he created a large sphere of ice at least twice the size of a basket ball and with the flick of a wrist send it flying with a ice pillar was was created from under it, but he was not finished yet. Fayt the quickly created an ice spear and waited till it was over Aiden before he tossed it hoping it cause what he wanted and luckily it did. Upon impact it caused the ice to fracture and break apart into dozens of sharp shards of ice that were sent plummeting to the grounds below which is where Aiden stood.

Aiden, still having most of his clip filled aimed up unleashing a barrage of shots. Unfortunately, although he had exceptional aim he still missed most of the ice shards forcing him to send electrical currents through his body which allowed him to move faster. He quickly jumped out of the way and continued to run towards Fayt, getting close enough to send an electrical jab and cross to his face and neck, finishing with a back kick. Aiden had run out of ammunition as he thought two clips would be enough so while he was running he had thrown his rifle to the ground allowing him better mobility. Due to this coupled with the fact that he was using altered fast twitch muscle fibers he was moving extremely fast, fast enough that should Fayt get struck it would be extremely hard for him to keep up with his pre-existing wound still lingering.

Fayt watched as the move that he used worked just as planned, he wanted Aiden to waste his ammo so he would have a better chance at surviving that fight but was surprised at the speed of his opponent and at the face that he was able to get so close so quickly. This change of tactic caught Fayt off guard just a bit but he was still prepared for this kind of attack, he figured that he would try something electrical with his attacks so he quickly used the moisture from the air to pit a layer of ice over his hands so he could block without getting shocked. So Fayt got into a defensive martial arts stance and was able to block the first two attacks however was caught by the kick being send to the ground. Fayt before hitting the ground put his hands together and with the ice from his palms and along with some more moisture from the air he created two ice knives that he threw at Aiden aiming for his chest.

Aiden front flipped over the knives and landed sending an arch of electricity from each of his fingers towards Fayt. His hair whipped downward from the air as he landed causing his aim to be a little bit off as well as the fact that because of this his footing was also off. Aiden knew this and tried to pick up his gun with a single arc of lightning using static electricity on the metal gun, using it as a conduit to send a single beam of electricity towards Fayt.

Yet again another lightning bolt blasted through the air heading to Fayt but yet again he made a shield of ice and since he was close to the pond it was at least twice the height and with make it able to withstand the powerful electric attack. But Fayt didn't know that another attack was seconds away from being used against him, this time a beam of electricity was fired at him but because of the shield was so durable it didn't break instantly so just as it broke he was able to move to the side slightly letting the beam graze his arm keeping it from a fatal blow but because of its electric nature it had a little aftermath. Fayt's left arm was now slightly paralyzed giving him an even greater disadvantage then what he had seconds ago. He looked over the pile of ice that was once his shield with his engaged look as he continued to glare as he slowly stood up once again.

"What is you problem!"

"I think that's enough."

Aiden used his power over his weapon to pull it to him, slinging it on to his back. He began to walk to Fayt. As he did this he held both his hands out letting out two sets of electricity from all of his fingers as Aiden tried one last time to paralyze him fully as at this point simply talking would be useless. Aiden unfortunately was losing power and would not be able to keep up much longer. He grunted a little bit as he put the rest of his power into this last volley of electrical arcs. His hair began to float and his eyes glowed white without pupils. His clothes floated as well. It was almost as if he was electrocuting himself with this attack. His strap for his rifle was burnt off forcing his rifle to the ground yet again. If he didn't make it with this attack the tide of the battle would surely turn and he would almost definitely lose. Luckily his attack was extremely fast due to the fact that it was electricity and not something like fire or earth which has a hard time fighting friction.
