New battle against new friend

Yuri exercising by stretching, he was ready to face the friend that he had made in the academy. Knowing that it was a grade 2 it signaled him to be on top guard if he was to even come close to beating his opponent and moving up a rank. Yuri didn't care about that however he was ready to just learn about what his strange powers were able to do. He knew that Fayt was in the same boat as him and this meant it would more or less be fair game for both of them.

"Alright Fayt..I hope you know I'm not taking it easy on you."

Also stretching Fayt was ready to see how what hes learned in these past few day will effect his skills in battle. Fayt then stopped stretching as he then looked to his opponent Yuri as he said some type of friendly threat to him and this made him smirk. Fayt got into his ridged stance with his hands leveled to his heart and his elbows leveled to his lower ribs showing that he was now ready to battle as well.

"I wouldn't have it any other way Yuri."

Instantly the Proctor appeared in the middle of the field between both Yuri and Fayt he was a little interested to see how this fight would go since it was stated on the records that both Yuri and Fayt possessed similar powers. He knew however their ability to use it were extremely different, and it seemed as though this battle would lead into some untapped power. With a smirk he orse his right arm ready to signal the start of this match.

"Alright...Match rules same as always, This is a one on one battle between Yuri Kentaro and Fayt Yukimura. The match will be over if one of you cannot continue or surrenders, remember at any point I can stop the fight if it get too serious..Have a good match now..Get ready!"

Yuri instantly took the Shotokan Karate stance ready for anything that Fayt was going to throw at him. A thought in the back of Yuri's mind was the he might lose but he was also a little confident in his skill and hoped for nothing but the best.

"Ready.."

Fayt still in his Xingyiquan stance awaiting the proctor to give him the go, strangely Fayt was eager to fight Yuri for reasons beyond his knowledge. He stared intensely at Yuri as he quietly nodded singling the Proctor that he was ready and willing to fight.

"Alright...Now Begin!"

With a nod Yuri rushed towards Fayt keeping his fists locked and high to his chest as he send three straight punches at the face of Fayt with his left hand pulling back at the last one sending a low body blow strike with his right. Yuri smirked a little expecting that Fayt would be actually strong enough to block each of his strikes, being that he didn't really show much of his skills he wanted to use this as a method of studying the style of fighting that Fayt practiced in order to better anticipate his movements in the future.

Fayt watched as Yuri quickly made his advance to him with a frontal attack, he looked at the fists of Yuri knowing that were going to be used in this assault and Fayt was ready to counter. Fayt saw as the first series of punches were headed to his face so he quickly evaded each attack by weaving his head back and forth, and when he noticed the last attack was head for his body he quickly countered with a powerful punch with his right that was was aimed for Yuri's fist making them collide in mid air blocking the strike. However Fayt was not done yet he quickly pulled back the left side of his body and then moved back quickly with a full bodied palm strike aimed for the chest of Yuri.

Yuri turned and tried to avoid the strike but was hit in the side from the palm falling back onto the ground. He rose to his feet slowly and tried to shake himself off in order to regain his composure, It was clear that the fighting style imitated the forms of Hakke being one of the few descendants from the original. This meant that it was going to be tougher on Yuri than he thought. Instantly he dived across the field tucking and rolling to the side of Fayt going on one knee, with a light pull he swung his leg in attempts to sweep him right off his feet.

"Your going down!"

Fayt quite pleased with himself even though the attack didn't hit him directly but he knew that it did some damage from the way Yuri acted after the attack. But suddenly Yuri jumped and rolled to Fayt's side and because of the quickness he was completely taken by surprise and was knocked off his feet being sent backwards. Fayt as he fell thought that this was going to be a lot more interesting now that Yuri seemed completely serious and that mean that he had to step his game up as well. Falling on his back Fayt instantly sifted his body weight to hos upper body as he lower back rose from the ground slightly as he quickly kicked his legs towards the ground and this caused his upper body to shoot up and would get back on his feet as he did this. Fayt then took a few steps back as so he could get distance between himself and Yuri, he then got back into his Xingyiquan stance as he waited for Yuri to get up from the ground.

"Not bad Yuri."

"Yeah man well I try my best to give my opponents my all...Now lets see what you can do."

"You sure your ready for that?"
